INKLESS
Inkless is a studio-based instrumental progressive project created by Dany Breault (guitars), Joey Dolan (bass), and Peter Emmonds (drums). The project was conceived entirely in the studio, with Dolan arranging guitar parts drawn from Breaults repertoire and assembling them alongside original drum performances by Emmonds and his own bass performances.
Over a span of three years, the trio refined and curated their collaborative work into eight full studio albums, now collectively presented across five volumes. These recordings have been newly restored for a 2026 release and will be followed by digital recreations of the catalog on CD.
What sets Inkless apart is that the three musicians have never met in person. Breault is based in Canada, Emmonds in the United Kingdom, and Dolan in Los Angeles, California. Every performance, arrangement, and final mix was created through online file sharing and remote communication alone.
The result is a collection of fully realized instrumental progressive tracks that reflect a unified musical vision despite geographic separation.
